Transplantation is an accepted and usually successful therapy for irreverisible renal failure. Color Doppler ultrasound has evolved as a safe, accurate, and noninvasive method of screening renal allografts. Rapid, reliable diagnosis of complications has allowed prompt therapy and improved organ survival.
