Pitfalls in shoulder MRI
Leland Tsao, MD; Scott Mirowitz, MD
Evaluation of magnetic resonance (MR) images of the shoulder is complicated by many potential pitfalls and normal variants that can simulate pathology. The authors review and illustrate the most important of these entities, focusing on areas such as the rotor cuff, osseous structures, joint space and biceps tendon, labrocapsular complex and MR anthrography.
