Summary: Samsung integrates hybrid beamforming technology (spatial filtering) and smart design in its ultrasound's debut in the U.S. medical imaging market.
April 11, 2013 - Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is featuring the Samsung
UGEO H60, an ultrasound system integrating Samsung’s hybrid beamforming technology, also known as spatial filtering, and smart design in its debut in the U.S. medical imaging market.
UGEO H60 aims to ensure superior imaging performance and a sleek design that
provides users with a fast and intuitive ultrasound experience. The hybrid beamforming engine is engineered for
more in-depth and detailed scanning as well as improved color performance.
Hybrid beamforming offers greater flexibility than standard omnidirectional
reception and transmission. The key benefit is its ability to adapt its
response to different situations, which leads to optimized processing, in order
to analyze and process data more rapidly and accurately.
The UGEO H60 is among a number of medical imaging
products Samsung will be showcasing at this week’s American Institute of
Ultrasound in Medicine’s (AIUM) Annual Convention at the New York Marriott
Marquis Hotel, Booth #516.
