Breat cancer litigation: Claims, defendants, and awards

According to the Physician's Insurance Association of America, "The most prevalent and second most expensive condition resulting in claims against physicians is malignant neoplasm of the breast." Hence, there is an important practical reason to investigate breast cancer litigation, in an effort to improve clinical decision-making by radiologists in breast cancer diagnoses. This paper identifies the key medical, legal, and financial issues in breast cancer litigation.
