Summary:
This 47 year-old male was transferred from an outside hospital with a leaking 7 cm thoracic aortic aneurysm and a history of chronic type III aortic dissection. Following emergency repair the patient demonstrated flaccid paralysis secondary to patient's T 8 level cord infarction. Following a complicated clinical course the patient was discharged to rehab.
