Strangulated hernia through a prior pericardial window

Abstract: A 37-year-old man presented with sudden onset of epigastric abdominal pain associated with nausea and vomitting. His history was remarkable for a gunshot wound to the abdomen, three years prior, resulting in exploratory laparotomy and diagnostic pericardial window.
