Abstract: 57 year old male presents with acute onset of loss of balance. When
pressed, he admits to preferentially falling to the left side. Also
complains of dizziness, nausea and vomiting. Physical exam reveals
decreased pain and temperature sensation on the right side of the
body, as well as ptosis and miosis involving the left eye.
