Such technological advances have also increased the need for radiologist training. As radiologists juggle ever-increasing time constraints and imaging studies with vast numbers of images, rapid image processing and interpretation are essential. This article reviews PACS workstation developments and reminds radiologists of issues related to evaluating new PACS workstations and customizing software and hardware interfaces to best accommodate individual workflow.</p>
