Even if mammography is the best proven method for finding breast cancer in its early stages, it is only natural that a single method will never be able to detect all of the subtypes. In addition, the composition of the breast tissue surrounding the lesion(s) will significantly influence our ability to demonstrate the presence of a benign or malignant lesion.
