Mechanical revascularization yields high procedural success rates with low restenosis and reduced downstream embolization. New classes of pharmacologic agents have further improved the outcome of ACS intervention. In the setting of acute myocardial infarction, the concept of &quot;facilitated intervention&quot; has the potential of extending the benefits of thrombolysis to patients in community hospitals.</description><author></author><pubDate>Thursday, 17 Jan 2002 01:03:48 GMT</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
