This article reviews sev-eral suture-mediated and non-suture-mediated closure devices that are designed to increase the efficiency of arterial hemostasis and reduce complications. When compared with manual pressure, these systems are more efficient at achieving hemostasis, particularly in patients who have undergone interventions using anticoagulant or antiplatelet agents.</description><author></author><pubDate>Thursday, 21 Sep 2000 12:11:43 GMT</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
