ACR seeking nominations for Technical Expert Panel

By News Release

ACR is seeking multidisciplinary stakeholders to serve on a Technical Expert Panel (TEP). This panel will be responsible for refining the quality concept, informing appropriate measure specification details, and assisting with the testing and implementation of the patient-centered Closing the Results Follow-Up Loop (Closing the Loop) quality measure.

The proposed measure will assess diverse practices’ adoption of systematic tracking and care coordination to encourage the delivery of evidence-based radiologist-recommended follow-up care. Results of successful performance in this proposed measure includes a greater volume of patients benefiting from early detection of cancer or other treatable conditions and ensuring treatment as appropriate. ACR’s announcement of the award is available at here.

TEP members will be selected to ensure representation from a variety of stakeholders, including (but not limited to) physicians, other clinicians or healthcare professionals, measure science experts or developers, and quality improvement professionals.
