RadNet, Inc. (NASDAQ: RDNT), a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services and digital health solutions in the U.S., has announced the acquisition of CIMAR UK, a cloud-native imaging management company with a strong presence across the UK healthcare landscape. The acquisition, which will see CIMAR integrated into DeepHealth—RadNet’s AI-driven digital health division—represents a major step forward in creating more connected, intelligent, and scalable imaging-based care systems.

CIMAR currently powers image management infrastructure across more than half of NHS Trusts and 80% of the UK’s private hospital networks. Its vendor-neutral platform enables seamless data sharing, clinical AI deployment, and interoperability across fragmented healthcare environments—an increasingly vital capability as imaging volumes surge and care teams face mounting pressures.

“Imaging and diagnostics sit at the forefront of care, serving as the gateway to treatment and disease management,” said Kees Wesdorp, CEO and President of DeepHealth. “Radiologists and care teams are under immense pressure, often working with outdated or siloed tools, and are not set-up to keep pace with rising demand. By acquiring CIMAR, DeepHealth is taking a powerful step in redefining imaging-based care through a portfolio of solutions that connect clinical and operational intelligence to enable faster, more accurate diagnoses and improve efficiency.”

The deal brings together CIMAR’s cloud-based interoperability framework with DeepHealth’s suite of end-to-end informatics, including AI-powered diagnostics, population health tools, patient engagement platforms, and workflow optimization software. The combined capabilities are expected to support more efficient and accessible imaging services across both public and private healthcare systems in the UK, and eventually across Europe.

For CIMAR, the integration represents a new phase of scale and impact. “This acquisition marks a pivotal moment for CIMAR,” said Howard Jenkinson, Co-Founder and CEO of CIMAR. “Through our integration with DeepHealth, we can scale our impact and expand access to services and solutions that provide a more seamless, connected, and intelligent imaging experience. Together, we aim to empower healthcare providers with the tools they need to stay at the forefront of medical imaging innovation, supporting them in delivering the highest standard of care.”

The acquisition builds on an existing partnership between the two companies, which currently supports NHS England’s Lung Cancer Screening Program. CIMAR provides the digital infrastructure for the program, connecting DeepHealth’s AI lung screening solution to more than 90% of participating sites. According to recent government data, the program has led to a major shift in early detection, with 76% of lung cancers now diagnosed at earlier, more treatable stages—compared to just 29% historically.

This shift underscores the broader potential of connected, AI-enabled imaging systems to improve outcomes through earlier diagnosis and more efficient care coordination. With the CIMAR acquisition, DeepHealth intends to expand this model to support other screening and diagnostic programs across the UK and continental Europe.

The deal reinforces RadNet’s continued push into digital health and further positions DeepHealth as a leading force in modernizing imaging through intelligent, scalable infrastructure.
