Program Description

This CME & CE Accredited Expert Forum Webinar will explore how next-generation wide-area detector CT systems, paired with AI-enhanced workflows and Super Resolution Deep Learning Reconstruction (SR-DLR) is transforming cardiac imaging.

Dr. Ghasemiesfe will present applications in coronary CTA for both adult and pediatric congenital heart patients, highlighting gains in temporal resolution, contrast uniformity, and motion management, while Dr. Nagpal will focus his portion on structural heart imaging, demonstrating how these technologies are improving pre- and post-interventional assessments.

Attendees will gain practical insights on integrating advanced image reconstruction, AI-based resolution enhancement, and metal artifact reduction to optimize diagnostic accuracy and clinical decision-making. A moderated panel discussion will follow brief presentations, where your questions will be addressed.

Dr. Prashant Nagpal, MD FSCCT is an Associate Professor (CHS) of Radiology and the Section Chief of Cardiovascular Imaging. Dr. Nagpal completed medical school and Radiology residency at the University of Delhi, India. Upon moving to the US, he completed his radiology residency at the University of Iowa and his Cardiovascular Imaging fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston MA.
