GE HealthCare Highlights Cloud-Enabled Enterprise Imaging Solutions at SIIM 2026

GE HealthCare announced it will showcase its latest enterprise imaging innovations at the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) 2026 Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a focus on cloud-enabled technologies designed to improve radiology workflows, productivity, and patient care.

The company will feature its Genesis™ Radiology Workspace and Intelerad’s InteleShare™ platform, both aimed at helping healthcare organizations address mounting operational pressures, including rising imaging volumes, increasing case complexity, and ongoing workforce shortages.

According to the American College of Radiology (ACR), radiologist workforce shortages have been identified as the biggest threat facing radiology for three consecutive years. As staffing challenges persist, the ability to interpret imaging studies remotely has become increasingly important for maintaining throughput and ensuring timely diagnoses.

GE HealthCare continues to advance its enterprise imaging portfolio with Genesis™ Radiology Workspace, a next-generation platform designed to streamline radiology workflows, unify the user experience, and improve efficiency and diagnostic precision.

View, an FDA 510(k)-cleared diagnostic viewer designed as a fast, zero-footprint solution accessible from virtually any location, is an integral part of this platform. The viewer is intended to help simplify radiology workflows while supporting patient care initiatives. Genesis Radiology Workspace also features high-performance visualization capabilities that adapt to individual reading preferences and automatically display current and prior studies to help save time and reduce cognitive burden. In addition, user-defined AI prioritization capabilities can elevate critical findings to improve visibility and workflow management.

“The future of enterprise imaging depends on connected, cloud-enabled solutions that improve access, collaboration, and efficiency. GE HealthCare is committed to helping providers unify imaging workflows and unlock deeper clinical insights through cloud and AI-enabled innovation,” said Scott Miller, CEO, Solutions for Enterprise Imaging, GE HealthCare.

Intelerad, a GE HealthCare company, will also demonstrate its cloud-first imaging solutions, including InteleShare™, a cloud-based medical image exchange platform designed to facilitate secure access to imaging data across complex, multi-facility healthcare environments.

The platform offers native electronic health record (EHR) integration and automated workflows intended to reduce administrative burden, improve patient and clinician experiences, and help healthcare organizations maximize existing technology investments.
