GE HealthCare Unveils MIM Anyware for Enhanced Imaging Data Access

GE HealthCare has launched MIM Anyware™, a new platform designed to enhance clinical collaboration by providing remote access to imaging data. This secure platform allows healthcare professionals to access the full suite of GE HealthCare's MIM software solutions via a web browser, without installing local software.

MIM Anyware addresses the growing demands of large, complex imaging volumes in healthcare settings. Traditional access methods often depend on isolated workstations and require significant IT infrastructure, which may not be ideal for modern imaging environments. MIM Anyware offers a solution by enabling collaboration across departments and supporting clinical decision-making in diverse locations.

Jérémy Godart, Medical Physicist at Erasmus MC, highlighted the platform's potential in improving data sharing and collaboration. He noted that technologies like MIM Anyware allow easier sharing of imaging data with external collaborators and facilitate multidisciplinary consultations. These capabilities are especially valuable for complex healthcare scenarios requiring expert input and support educational opportunities for medical students through real clinical case exposures.

The MIM Anyware platform facilitates simultaneous clinical review and processing, allowing multiple users, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to collaborate effectively. It supports actions such as workflow deployment, registration reviews, and dose assessments in real time. By doing so, it ensures streamlined cross-functional collaboration, aids in faster decision-making, and promotes coordinated patient care.

J. Anders, General Manager of MIM at GE HealthCare, commented on the importance of collaboration among multidisciplinary teams, emphasizing the platform's role in redefining how clinicians engage with medical imaging data. The remote access platform is tailored to meet the evolving needs of oncology workflows, supporting consultations, referrals, and tumor board collaboration.

Apart from MIM Anyware, GE HealthCare continues to offer its MIM software solutions portfolio, aiding areas such as radiation therapy planning. Solutions like MIM Maestro™ and MIM Contour ProtégéAI+™ 2.0 provide clinicians with the tools necessary for confident treatment decisions and comprehensive dose visualization.
