She also serves on the American College of Radiology’s Commission on Patient and Family-Centered Care.
Dr. Kemp is a frequent invited speaker and published author whose work has advanced the field’s understanding of patient engagement. Her efforts have been recognized nationally, including coverage in The New York Times and honors such as the AuntMinnie Scientific Paper of the Year (2017) and ACR Fellowship (2015). She has been named one of Denver’s “Top Doctors” in 5280 magazine multiple times.
Dr. Kemp earned her undergraduate degree in psychology and medical degree from the University of Kansas, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha. In 2022, she completed a fellowship in Health Quality Leadership at the University of Colorado's Institute for Healthcare Quality, Safety, and Efficiency.
“Through RSNA, I hope to guide radiology in a direction that not only ensures our patients continue to receive the highest quality of care but also strengthens the voice of radiologists in shaping our future and affirms RSNA’s role as the trusted leader of our field,” Dr. Kemp said.
