Neurophet Partners with RapidAI to Enhance Neuroimaging Solutions in U.S. Healthcare

Neurophet, a company specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for diagnosing and treating brain disorders, has announced a strategic partnership with RapidAI, a global leader in enterprise clinical AI. This collaboration aims to integrate Neurophet’s advanced neurodegenerative brain imaging solutions into the Rapid Enterprise Platform.

The RapidAI platform combines state-of-the-art imaging AI with comprehensive workflow solutions to connect radiology and clinical teams throughout the patient journey. Trusted by over 2,500 hospitals in more than 100 countries, RapidAI seeks to accelerate the commercialization of Neurophet solutions within the U.S. health market.

Neurophet's offerings include comprehensive brain imaging analysis solutions such as Neurophet AQUA AD Plus and Neurophet SCALE PET, which assist in the prescription management of Alzheimer's disease and patient care for dementia. Additionally, the Neurophet AQUA MS software provides quantitative imaging analysis for multiple sclerosis (MS), a complex condition affecting the central nervous system.

The Neurophet AQUA AD Plus utilizes AI to analyze brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data, enabling the identification and quantification of hypointense lesions linked to cerebral microbleeds and superficial siderosis, as well as hyperintense lesions related to brain edema. This analysis is particularly significant for monitoring treatment-associated side effects in Alzheimer's patients receiving anti-amyloid therapies like Leqembi and Kisunla, offering quantitative insights that can facilitate informed clinical decision-making during treatment.

By marrying RapidAI’s established U.S. hospital connections with Neurophet’s innovative imaging capabilities, the partnership aims to enhance access to advanced neuroimaging and improve clinical decision-making processes.

Jake Junkil Been, Co-CEO of Neurophet, noted the intention to integrate Neurophet AQUA AD Plus into the RapidAI platform and to distribute it extensively across memory disorder centers in the U.S., particularly those prescribing Leqembi and Kisunla. He highlighted plans for further integration of Neurophet AQUA and Neurophet SCALE PET to provide a comprehensive framework for dementia care that spans from diagnosis to treatment monitoring.

Through this partnership, radiologists will gain access to AI-generated insights via Rapid Navigator Pro, while clinicians can use the Rapid Mobile App to review findings, streamline patient care, and enhance coordination among care teams. This integration illustrates RapidAI’s ongoing commitment to innovation within the neuroscience sector, providing a consistent method for health systems to manage specialized clinical AI solutions through shared infrastructure and centralized governance. Together, these efforts are designed to enhance treatment decisions and longitudinal monitoring for patients with neurodegenerative disorders.
