SimonMed Imaging Launches Longevity Division to Expand Preventive MRI Services
January 27, 2026 · News Release

SimonMed Imaging, a radiology practice based in Scottsdale, Arizona, has launched a new business line focused on preventive health and early disease detection. The new division, SimonMed Longevity, aims to offer consumers elective whole-body MRI scans as part of a broader push to extend healthspan through imaging.
The service builds on the company’s previous whole-body MRI offering, SimonONE, which debuted in 2023 amid growing public interest in proactive health screening. Under the Longevity banner, these services will now be integrated into SimonMed’s broader clinical infrastructure, allowing for expanded access and improved continuity of care.
“Bringing Longevity under SimonMed allows us to scale preventive care more effectively and deliver a more seamless experience for patients and providers,” said John Simon, MD, founder and CEO of SimonMed. “Preventive imaging shouldn’t be a standalone offering—it should be part of routine healthcare.”
The Longevity service line will initially launch in 30 locations, with expansion plans to reach over 70 by April. Across these sites, patients will have access to multiple elective scan options, ranging from a $899, 30-minute “Core MRI” of the chest, abdomen and pelvis, to a $2,199, hour-long whole-body scan that also includes the head, neck and spine. The exams are interpreted by SimonMed’s team of over 200 radiologists.
In addition to MRI, the practice plans to expand the longevity offering with other imaging modalities, such as CT, ultrasound and mammography. Complementary services like lab testing, clinical consultations, follow-up imaging and AI-generated health action plans are also being offered.
The move reflects a broader trend in healthcare, driven by consumer demand for earlier detection tools and inspired by the success of tech-forward longevity companies like Prenuvo, Function Health and Ezra. SimonMed’s pivot also appears to respond to growing interest in using artificial intelligence to guide long-term health strategies.
“This evolution isn’t about changing who we are,” said Chief Marketing Officer Jenna Lloyd. “It’s about building on our expertise in response to what patients are asking for—a clearer understanding of their health, and what to do about it, so they can live healthier, longer lives.”
The company, which operates around 170 outpatient centers across 10 states, is backed by private equity firm American Securities. As the transition unfolds, SimonONE services will continue to be offered at select locations.
